Hey guys Thanks to retrogameon for the post introducing the place.
I'm not sure how active i'll be... though i enjoy my retro games, Perth isn't exactly what i'd call conducive to the hobby! So mostly my collection consists of things i got when they came out, and have now become retro My biggest retro-actively collected retro collection is for Saturn, consisting most of Japanese games found on the cheap.
I have a bit of an alterior motive to joining, but it's a good one... I've got a huge stack of gaming magazines ... that i've been hoarding for years and years. Very difficult for me to part with them, i do love those times when i remember something from an article and i can just pick up the mag and read it again. But... i'm planning to move to Japan this year, and so they really have to go
I absolutely want them to go to a good new home. I haven't looked in a while, whether or not i have mags that haven't been digitised online. I'd like to do it myself, but don't have a scanner nor the time. Someone who'd be willing to do this would be ideal.
I'd like to get at at least a little money for them, to soften the blow of their loss. What do you guys think is a reasonable price for magazines from the early 90's to about 2000? They're in varying conditions from semi-tattered to almost new, ranging from NMS, Hyper, N64 Magazine, EGM, CVG and so on.
Problem with them too is that in bulk, they make for hefty postage costs interstate.
I feel i'm almost doomed to throwing these out one day, so please someone send me a PM if you're interested!
