Hi all. I promised some before & after pics as I give this machine a facelift - so here are the pics so far: Lights in the top marquee and on the back of the seat did not work Now they both work Original dashboard had faded from white to this disgusting beige colour Now it's been sprayed red and put back together The old gear shifter was rusted badly on the shaft as well as around the edges Here is the nice new shifter The middle of the steering wheel had a bit of rust through it It's not perfect but I removed the rust as much as possible The sides both looked like this, the star decals were rubbish I had new star decals made and fixed both sides, also the USA side board had also faded and I had the white panel resprayed I still have some work to do on this machine in terms of the steering motor and the top marqueee so more pics to come. The game plays great though and have now added the N64 version though yet to try it

Nice job, looks sweet. I'd love to have that in my man cave, might have to contact you once the kids move on. Great job on the restore, can't wait to see it all sparkly and new again! Looks like you've done this before.

On an arcade machine - no, never done this before. Have given my pinball machines a facelift though, mainly cosmetic stuff.
Been giving my Terminator 2 machine a facelift at the same time as this - things like adding side mirrors inside the machine & changing the display to red.
On a side note, I saw your birthday is June 2? I'm June 1st lol

Wow, that's pretty amazing! Only one day of seperation, ha, ha.
Your Cruis'n machine looks absolutely stunning, you must be super stoked getting it for that price. I've been looking at a few arcade cabinets lately, some great deals if you look hard enough, some real shonky one's too.
I might have to contact you when I finally get around to purchasing some pinnies, you do an amazing job, I've shown my wife and she loves your room. She said that will be our goal once the kids move on, I love my kids but man, thats one hell of a wait, ha, ha.
