Hi there.
Just signed up to this forum after finding a video on Retro Game On's Youtube channel. (love your stuff by the way). Hoping to become a fairly active member of this forum. None of my mates are really into retro gaming like i am so I'd love to hear from you if live nearby, as id love to make a few new local friends with a passion for the old retro consoles like i am.
A little bit about me. Primarily I love my SNES. My first ever console and still my favourite to this day. Not that i don't love other consoles but the SNES will always hold a special place in my heart. For me the 16bit era was the golden age of gaming. It was the one that mastered the art of pixels. Other consoles I love are the NES, SegaMD and SegaMS, GB, GBC, GBA & N64. Past that N64/Playstation1 era I will play, but dont really have the passion for.
I consider myself to be a hobby retro gaming electrician and have managed to save countless consoles from the bin. Seriously dont throw out your games and faulty consoles. send them to me. I may be able to fix them for you. I hate the thought of this stuff getting thrown out when they still have life left in them.
I have a fairly extensive gameboy cartridge collection, and a small SNES collection that im hoping to grow. I also own one or more of each generation of Gameboy Consoles.
The prize of my collection is my own creation a SNES/NES arcade cabinet which was lovingly created over a year and runs off actual hardware with genuine controllers and lightguns.
About 6 months ago I began my own youtube channel just to show a few friends my arcade cabinet. Soon after I thought id expand my channel a bit and after watching countless console and game reviews on the youtube, I decided to try to make my channel a little different and made it a controller review channel. At the moment its entirely SNES/SFC focused, but that may change down the line. feel free to check it out. Be warned I'm an amateur when it comes to video making, so don't have high expectations. link below

Well that is about it from me. If you are ever in Adelaide, weather you live here or are just passing through, hit me up for a game of Super Mario Kart.
